It's been a while since I put anything in this blog.  I still am hoping to contact some of James Brown's decedents and get information.
He and his second wife Sophornia had 11 children.  All of them born in Mississippi.  I am trying to follow the Brown family back a little further and an having trouble.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to visit Beauvoir in Mississippi.  I am hoping to get down there soon and see the renovation. Most of James Brown's children were born during their time at this beautiful location.  I hope everyone is having a great New Year.  I look forward to hearing from you during this year.
